Crematory
S&S Cremation Services and Paws at Rest pet cremation.
S&S Cremation Services
Jeff Stout and Bill Shirley, co-owners of S & S Crematory Services, opened Howard County's first crematory, located at 1315 W. Lincoln Rd. in Kokomo, in 2010. With our S & S Cremation Services, your loved one never leaves our care. This offers security and peace of mind when considering cremation. It also eliminates the expense of shipping remains to Indianapolis for cremation and eliminates delays in returning cremains to the family.
Paws at Rest
Our funeral homes are proud to also offer cremation services for pets, offering a full line of urns and memorial products for any domestic animal.
As pet owners, we acknowledge the attachment one feels toward a family pet. When one loses a beloved pet, it is like losing a member of the family and we recognize the need for some closure on the part of pet owners. We began offering pet cremation services in 2005 and have seen the need grow through the years. Our pet cremations start at $175.00.
Following pet cremation, a wooden container with a personalized name plate is returned to the family with the cremains along with a paw-print and a lock of fur laminated in a bookmark. Since we offer onsite cremation, our turnaround time is less than 36 hrs.
